Reverse Engineering

From an existing part to redesign and manufacturing. We consider its geometry, function and operating conditions together.

Reverse Engineering

How we work

Start with a physical component when its original drawing is missing, a section has broken or the part needs adapting. We consider what it does, how it fits and which dimensions determine its function. A mating component or installation photo can help reconstruct missing areas.

Measurements or scanning data become references for rebuilding the geometry and incorporating agreed changes. Output format, critical dimensions and checking steps are defined in the scope. If you also need manufacturing, we can plan a prototype or custom part. Share design rights and operating conditions at the start; safety-critical applications need an appropriate engineering assessment.

What can we work on?

  • Assessment of an existing part
  • Reconstruction of functional geometry
  • Model development for manufacturing

Pricing and delivery

We define the scope of design, manufacturing and any finishing in your quote. Share dimensions, quantity, material needs and your target date so we can agree the production route and delivery plan.

In Akhisar or Manisa, we can plan how to receive your physical sample. From other cities, start with files and photos; sample transport and delivery are agreed for your project. International enquiries are welcome too.

Frequently asked questions

Can you reproduce a broken or discontinued part?

Yes, we can start with your broken or discontinued part. Send photos of the component, damage and installation, plus a sound sample or mating part if available. Measurements and any scanning provide references for rebuilding the geometry and planning production for your intended use.

How does 3D scanning differ from reverse engineering?

3D scanning captures the surface geometry of a physical object. Reverse engineering uses scans or measurements to develop a model around its function. Tell us whether you need a surface mesh or a dimensioned, editable CAD model; we will help you choose the scanning, modelling and production steps.

Which files and details should I send for a quote?

Send any available STL, 3MF, OBJ or STEP model, dimensioned drawing and reference photos. Include critical dimensions, units, intended use, quantity and target date. We check compatibility with our workflow and agree an alternative transfer method if needed.

You do not need a finished model. Share what you have and we will help you choose the first step.
